Week 8: Become a Data Superhero!
Unit: Problem Solving and Logic (Weeks 6-8)
What’s in Store This Week?
This week, you’ll gain a new superpower: understanding data! Data is just a fancy word for information. You’ll become a “Data Detective,” learning how computers organize information to make it useful. We’ll collect fun facts about our class and learn how to sort them into organized lists. Then, you’ll use everything you’ve learned to build an amazing Digital Scrapbook all about YOU—your hobbies, your favorite things, and your family—to show off your personality and your awesome new programming skills!
What You’ll Be Able to Do!
By the end of this week, you’ll be able to:
- Explain how computers sort and organize information.
- Collect fun facts (data) and sort them into neat categories.
- Create a cool multimedia project about yourself with different pages and interactive buttons.
- Use your coding skills to express your unique personality!
